Ended up on my lonesome at oakedge, somehow managed to avoid darren and Peter, it took some doing i tell you, they just don't put bushes in the right places when you are needing cover.

Truth is i got there late on after shooting Cross Guns Kinver , what a great day for shooting as well.

I shot grangefarm sporting today it was an England regional selection shoot(not for me only here for experience) finished on 69 x 100 so about average must try harder, anyone else shoot this today?

I was at grange too.

My 1st attempt at a reg, and dropped some really easy birds with some silly mistakes! :-(

Ended up on 56! Not really happy with that at all, but it just gives me more inclination to move on and prove to myself I can do better! :)

Great weather, and a few targets that really caught me out! Good fun all in all.

Was nice to see Jem, Lorraine, Mark Stevenson, and few others here and there.

Yeah sure thing! :)

You can remind me to take the safety off before I shoot......

(I forgot, on the 1st stand of the shoot!!! - schoolboy error, lost me 2 birds before I'd even spent a cartridge!)

Shot Grange Farm today.  Made the effort as it was an English Selection shoot and I thought I'd try to do them this year (but missed the first one at S'down as I was away and messed up Podimore)

Anyway, shot better than I have for ages and hit 83 and got joint 2nd in B class.  Main difference for me was 7 straight stands and 2 only 1 away.  I normally struggle to straight anything.

Great weekend for me as I really enjoyed the classic too

Off the top of my head

Southdown

Hornet

4 Counties

All registered ESP and Southdown is a championship of some form and then Urchfont is practise.

Jack Pyke Friday.
Fitasc in Fife on Saturday
Garlands on Sunday.
That should do it.....
Or maybe Northampton too......?

Hmmm - Sunday will be the last of four days...

  • Thursday - private FITASC Practice
  • Friday - Jack Pyke
  • Saturday/Sunday - Hodnet for the BGP FITASC

Just hoping I find some form on one of those days...

BRING ME THE WEEKEND!

Well, it looks like 4C's for me then.
Lord pewsey Urchfont is Wilts champs according to Pull mag so there's another option for you, maybe a cross border foray for myself to that and meet up with the wiltshire poacher but not definate yet will let you know as it would be good to see you and have a catch up buddy

Descision  time ...  what to do tommorow :)

Seal island or Petersfield ??

Anyone shot either of them ?

:santa:

Shorty me old mate, Urchfont would kill me, and as much as it would be good to see you again, I'm off to 4C's!  Haven't been there for quite a while anyway, so need to check out these brown resin clays!  Have fun mate, and I'll see you soon.
