I went to Brook Bank today and was just a tad disappointed as a sporting shooter.  I think the ground majors on DTL, Trap & Skeet with the sporting stands interspersed in between in one long row.  Accordingly until you get to the last 7 stands on the right beyond the trap & skeet ranges I couldn't use the first 6 stands when the trap and skeet ranges were in use.   I got what I wanted which was some sporting practice using the delay on the clay mate system as I was on my own whilst the family were shopping in Street.  I will be interested to hear what you think?  They have a DTL reg comp on tomorrow.  As a ground they are very fortunate in having no planning restrictions whatsoever so are keen to limit the shells used so as not to attract any unwanted attention.

Honesberie and then on to Westfield for us - any tips for Westfield?

Just waiting for my lift then myself and growler are off to Westfield

Think there may have been a few stung there today.Interesting course that you needed to concentrate on, or they got away.

I think that they set great targets on each stand, but don't balance the course correctly. Two or three of the tougher stands just wanted backing off a bit to get the overall effect correct- in my opinion..
Having said that, I would love to go and practice some of that stuff again. It would be a learning exercise.

Ben's shoot on sunday,  hopeful the weather is dry at least!  it is just north of Hastings and very easy to find.

2 Bridges Club up on Dartmoor has its annual shoot against a local estate's guns and its on our ground so we'd better win!
