Exactly! If your struggling with picking up the equivalent of 4 bags of sugar, it's time to hit the gym!My dt10x is a very heavy version of the gun and recoil is minimal although I do use smooth carts...fblaks

No not a wind up,Got to be a wind up surely? just dismissed 95% of everyday winning competition shotguns !
If you want something light and minimal recoil with no fussing buy an auto with an adjustable stock.
Indeed it may be, but with a prolapsed C4/5, heavy lifting is not reccomendedExactly! If your struggling with picking up the equivalent of 4 bags of sugar, it's time to hit the gym!
Mart, recoil is largely down to cartridge choice, in all seriousness if you are that unique in your requirement then you should at least try a semi- auto Beretta 390/391 they are proven competition guns, fairly light weight and recoil wise especially with a 24g shell is virtually non- existent.Indeed it may be, but with a prolapsed C4/5, heavy lifting is not reccomended
Hence my unique requirements ....
I shot with a selection of guns a few weeks ago, the best of the bunch was the 525, nicley balanced and low recoil..
So i know all the individual components are out there, its just finding one that suits me

I'll certainly bear it in mind, at the moment, I'm looking for OU, but may get a Semi as a plan B so to speak.Mart, recoil is largely down to cartridge choice, in all seriousness if you are that unique in your requirement then you should at least try a semi- auto Beretta 390/391 they are proven competition guns, fairly light weight and recoil wise especially with a 24g shell is virtually non- existent.
If you have not seen a good coach yet, then I recommend seeing one before you buy anything at all! It could save you a lot of time and money! No not a wind up,
Just want to be sure and happy before i drop a large wedge on my gun,
As i said ive got a garage full of "The ones" to buy so to speak, of which most are languishing in the garage, used a few times and never again.
I'll go and and have a look at all the options tommorow

Without a shadow of a doubt,And don't forget the "mental" aspect of choosing a gun also. If you are stood on the stand "thinking" about if you made the right choice or not, it won't help at all.
I know it sounds daft to some people, but opening the cabinet and smiling as you collect the "old girl" for a day out shooting is a bit of the battle in my opinion :spiteful:
Like lifting up the garage door and a grin appearing as you see your MV Agusta in the corner begging to be ridden on a hot summers day. It's not quite the same as an ER-5 (to me of course).
You have to "like" the gun also is what I am saying, after all that waffle
Wez.
Checked the web before setting off - still for sale, but on arrival it had been sent to another shop.. beyond my traveling distance, for somone to demoSurely worth a phone call before setting off to ensure its still available or put down a refundable deposit to take it off sale until you have seen it?
That would depend on which gun i went to seeBlessing in disguise!
