Along with shooting, I am a keen fisherman and a few years ago I bought an under suit, long johns and a long sleeved top with a removable hood and my god do I look like sex on legs :.: NOT. The garment is a Sundridge Sleep Skin made of micro fleece and it really is warm. In the depths of winter when out sea fishing on the kayak, I wear this suit and just a drysuit on top staying warm all day.

If you feel the cold, you will not get better than one of these suits.

Tried a few jackets on yesterday ie musto but as i suspected i could not get used to shooting in a jacket after nearly 30 yrs of not doing. Anyway thinking now of a new trap vest for winter either a thick cotton type thingie or fleece the objective is to keep my lower back warm so as not to set my sciatica off on cold shooting days. So looking for reccomendation of a suitable one. Would prefer to be RH Specific as dont like the look of ambidextrous style but not an essential requirement. Any ideas ?
I used to use something like this on the bike (before the smash!) if you have lower back issues it could help out.
