I managed 83ex100 on the Sportrap today, first 3 layouts I was on fire; but then a rain delay just before the last layout let me switch off and didn't get going again! I also found shooting on a raised platform quite strange! Currently sat in joint 2nd in B, but now have to wait for a possible shoot off.

Cheers Nicky! I didn't have too in the end as the other hooting wasn't there. Unfortunately I was hanging around til 8, however there were still fitasc squads out shooting so they couldn't start the shoot offs!

Bill McGuire won hg, Winser 2nd biddlecombe 3rd. I shot the first layout as bad as I have shot for... A long time. Woke up after for 24, 25, 23 in the rain but 2 light in the end. Felt I should have done an easy 97 so really not a happy boy! Onward and upward!

Results will be late up....... we just left Westfield at 11.50pm!!! CPSA crew last seen heading for Cirencester for McDonalds I think........!!

Massive shame it rained at the end, shoot offs in the wet are never good. Thanks to all that waited with such good humour.

Westfield tomorrow, it's going to be busy but hopefully all will enjoy good targets and great weather (I pray!). Please bear with the scores, moving from site to site takes time, it's worth the effort but does cut the admin time considerably. Will aim to do better tomorrow

Happy shooting and thanks for the great review. Makes it all worthwhile.

Ally and Steve

Blue skies and sunshine from the hotel bedroom in Cheltenham this morning. Some huge black clouds over the distant hills though, fingers crossed we can dodge the showers, but will take the waterproofs just in case.

Steve & Ally,

You do know that some one has to nominate you for an MBE or OBE don't you?

You two certainly deserve an award for the amount of work you are doing for British Clayshooting. I hope it all goes well for you and the event is a wonderful success. Good luck to all competitors.

Remember, just do your very best, but most importantly enjoy the event.

Anybody know if sweetslade is muddy? Or will get muddy when much trampled upon? This summer has thrown up an odd condition of muddy and warm, which I dont have footwear for. (Neoprene wellies are sauna for the feet).

mbe or obe for making a shoot inecessable for the disabled no, this is 2012, wake up i should be able to shoot a major comp without a massive staircase to climb or having to gues where the targets are coming from because the letters are to low.
