a handicap system, and/or a score as a percentage of high score, or whatever , is good at club level, no money, but a bit of encouragement , maybe a printed certificate`, or just a record to show members,,

seems once money is involved,, horns grow.

Thanks for the interest and support on here. At the moment there is not much point in cheating with prize money payout
at Orstons monthly shoots. The way a ground pays prize money is their choice and this hopefully encourages shooters
using handicap to improve or at least maintain their scores.

First level payout with no handicap added will never be effected and this is the section any serious money or prizes
should be paid out in.

I will have some competition news soon that hopefully will start July/August and then be monthly.

Any ground owners interested in being involved  are welcome to get in touch before I select the 5 grounds
that these shoots will be run at.

Is there any reason regular registered shoots could not operate two scoring formats with the same scorecards?

Pay an extra couple of quid to have your scorecard scored on an 'alternative' format.
