Ian,Never shot the ground myself, but only heard good things about the quality of the clays and the ground's amenities in general - including the food and the warm welcome.
sh*tty news for you and Val, Ian. I do hope you consider another ground to take up residence, as you've gained a 12 year reputation of getting it right for Sporting shooters, and it would be tragic to see that go to waste.
Good luck mate.
I'm up for this mate !!!The 29th September should be one big get together too say thanks to ian, val and gang...start baking val as I have a funny feeling the A303 at wylye will be blocked with shootclay members and clayshooters from far a field all ready to give wylye one big thankyou !!!! I will be there....still hard to believe your closing..
:goodjob: Lets hope the saying you can't keep a good man down proves true.I hope that you are thinking of carrying on and find another piece of ground to carry on giving us great sport and competition. I will be down to shoot with you before the deadline and if you are planning a final shoot I will definitely be down to say thank you and go out with a bloody big send off. !!!
And the cake! And the breakfast!Stunned!!!! MASSIVE LOSS TO THE SHOOTING COMMUNITY! SO,SO SO, SAD TO HEAR!
Many thanks Ian for all the work and positive attitude towards all the shooters who viisted regardless of ability you will be sorely missed
Nooooooooo not east, more to the west, Ian, in Zummerzet, where the cider apples grow and where you live! And the cake! And the breakfast!Sad news. If Ian can re establish 15-30 miles east, it will be incredible. A big empty area for SG's.
