    Very true and when I bought my gun I was well aware the price was in the ballpark and given the service I received (in my opinion) I'd have been embarrassed to have then asked for a discount. As it happens I bought cartridges etc at the same time and was given a discount without asking. Proper...

    Have to say that, within reason, there's a lot more to it than just the best price. Essentially would you go to a crap dealer just to save a bit or pay a little more and have decent honest service. I know which I'd rather do and if that comes at a slight premium it's fine with me.

    Thanks. What I was trying to say (perhaps badly) was that I just didn't understand how you could feel one gun was better than another when they were all so far away from fitting you. I suppose the best analogy I can think of is comparing size 12 shoes when you only normally take a size 7.....

    Beretta recoil inertia

    Surely a recoil pad will just reduce felt recoil rather than actual recoil. The gun moves the same (due to physics) but the recoil reducer absorbs the shock rather than your shoulder. I'm new so I probably don't have a clue anyway :smile:
