Did my first registered shoot on Sunday at Wylye with Tony and Rob and some other chap whos name escapes me (memory failing with age). Got 53 :) I was pleased with that, but it could have been better if two of the stands didn't destroy me ! It's a great sport, but really frustrating at...

Met a really nice man yesterday called Dennis, from Wellington, just down the road from Exeter where I live. Learned loads of stuff in just a matter of minutes, and left my 686 for him to alter to FIT me :) So, really excited to pick it up on Friday, and then start right at the beginning...

He has had the all clear now, just waiting in the queue :) Wez

So yesterday I went to Wylye Shooting ground in the morning. Very nice helpful people, and a lovely set of targets, although a little hard for the beginner (or me maybe). So laid back there, I only managed to shoot 70 cartridges, which just wasn't enough to sooth my addiction for a Saturday, so...

Nah, you only have to do that for certain stands, and I spent most of the day on the DTL and skeet as it is half indoors :) Wez

Done, I know where I am going next weekend, and if you are free, I may even pay for coaching !! Especially as yet again I have been told my gun does not fit me !!!! Is there such a gun that does ?? Great.. Wez
