    Instruction and Coaching Costs

When you are starting out I would say cheaper the better. To begin with it is more safety and getting used to the moves. After that it can be worth spending a bit more to get someone to look at you in depth.  Again really early doors I'd avoid the upper end cost wise, using the funds to build...

The craze for increasingly High Pheasant Shooting

A contentious issue for sure. For me I have no problem with the so called high bird shoots providing people attend tooled up correctly and have a good knowledge of what THEY are capable of. On the higher stuff it can indeed be killed pretty consistently with the right gear, and although there...

    Sporting Targets nr Riseley

One of the best grounds in the country, I near enough live there during the clay season, only venturing elsewhere one or two days a week or for game days. Give it a shot!

    Vegas - shooting experiences?

Yes I've been a few times, there's battlefield Vegas who are meant to be great, we used the strip gun club which is also very good. if you want to shoot clays there is Clark county gun club I believe bit I've never bothered as I see enough of them every day to want to give it a miss for a week...

    New to clay shooting

As will said, for sporting building a pre shot plan and target reading/analysis is an area often overlooked and can be the easiest place to pick up extra targets. foot positioning is just as important on game (arguably more so) as clays, but again can be covered off in pre shot prep.

Heavy non - toxic shells ?

The ones I got given were Kent I think, 50g 3s from memory and they seemed to do the job even out at range

Heavy non - toxic shells ?

Tungsten is good. Bismuth I've only ever been appalled at, Steel can work ok but in big shot sizes I'd be looking at 1s or BB to get the job done at any sort of range. Hevi shot is also not bad
