I was fitted for a set of passive ones at the Essex Masters. Waiting for them to arrive as yet, but as Ed says, the moulding process was simple and painless and the young lady that I was dealing with, was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

I think that many of those targets at Horne, are missed by leaving them too late.  By allowing them to come in too close, you have reduced your pattern and have to allow for the target dropping.

I would only usually pre-mount, for something quick away, double rise etc. However, my gun down will vary from, below the region of a FITASC line, to only just out of my shoulder, depending on how long I have. If you mount too soon and are waiting for the clay, you may find yourself...

So to clarify.... You may shoot on private land where you have a right to be. None of the shot may leave the boundaries of said land. It is an offence to discharge a firearm within 50ft of the centre of 'The Queens Highway" (middle of a road). Safe and legal are two totally different things...

I always shoot low on rabbits...which is why I used to miss those sneaky, slightly uphill ones at Gatton Bottom. Took me a while to suss what I was doing wrong...the shame :(

Hi. You might also look for clubs that shoot English Skeet.  Always a good place to learn basic skills and is shot in small groups, so buddies/buttoner no problem.

Two very different 'types' of gun there. I am biased towards Beretta, but I do like the Miroku's. Get what suits you, as was said...Then make it fit
