Anyone waiting for a new Shotgun certificate in Hampshire

I haven't applied for mine yet, but also living in East Sussex. Not looking forward to waiting that long. I phone them about a query about safes, and they seemed like they didn't really care where I put it.

    Should I buy a new (unused)shotgun without a warranty?

It is a tough call, but if it did develop problem with the gun, the store would be still liable and in court with would be in your favour as long as it was a manufactures fault. But it's always better to be safe than sorry so I would leave it. Or use your deposit against something else

For people new to shooting around the south

There is a groupon deal for southdown gun club, for two people for hour lesson for £65. It is under the groupon Brighton offers today. If anyone is interested its not a bad price and the club is good.I booked it this morning as I'm still learning to shoot.
