    Clay Grounds in Scotland

There is, you can find them on Facebook and here; http://shootatglenmoriston.com Used to be the Loch Ness gun club. From what little I know its primarily a trap ground with occasional 40 bird sporting and is at Invermoriston, round by Fort Augustus. Not shot there myself so can't be of much...

Ummm.... it's a Vincent Black Shadow and it could leak oil on my driveway any time it likes ;-) And this man had one called Armageddon :-)

    Browning shotguns

Totally agree on the Japanese quality and always had Honda fours as a boy - but they never made anything as beautiful as this :-)

    Oops help please!

Could have had a lacquered (?) finish? The better half's Guerini has it and it just gets Mr Sheen on it to shine it up. Could oiling it have stripped some of it off? If you know a good french polisher time to buy them a pint!

    Olympic Trap near Aberdeen?

Kippen Gun Club near Stirling is the only other one I know of in sensible striking distance from here. Best tell him to live South of the City to take an hour off any journey! SCTA link below will take him to the Registered Grounds. https://scta.valleyt.co.uk/ground/list/page/1 Hope it helps

    Browning XTR

I have an XTR and tried a Mk38 at the same time. The XTR, to me, seemed to have a lot more weight up front than the Mirook, which suited me more. Both nice guns to shoot though. Price may come into it too (it nearly did for me) as, if I remember correctly, there was about 500 quid difference...

How much do you pay for 100ESP comp?

Yep and as several have commented on, the shoots on the whole are a tenner less so we're back to the original question of is 45 quid a fair price for a reg shoot :-)

How much do you pay for 100ESP comp?

It has been interesting to see the responses regarding the cost of reg shooting and what is fair/vfm etc etc. What I would like to add is that Darkside has politely declined to mention the distances required for a lot of Scottish shooters and the travel costs and it has been commented by...

    Gamba Daytona

Yep notorious for trigger issues - I tried 3 s/h before finding one, including a fruitless 300 mile round trip, that didn't have an issue of not transferring to second barrel after shot fired. For some reason I still bought one which is daft really but they are bl??dy lovely :-) will take note...

    Ben Husthwaite

Hi Phil - do you have any plans for the intermediate class (with Carl?) up at Auchterhouse or anywhere else in Scotland this year please?

    Good Day Yesterday

Don't worry Ian it happens to everyone at some time or another and we've all stood in a cage and wondered why and how we're missing some targets! If other shooters are watching they will not be critiquing you they will desperately be working out why you are missing so they don't themselves :-)...
