Could do this Saturday at Wylye if Mrs Harvey wants to try a Browning 525 out before buying one. I sure Wylye (Ian) will put on a few suitable targets for us.

OK Harley, Seriously you really need to get her to a good coach who will help her to decide what is best for her. Husbands are not always the best person to do such things, a bit like teaching your wife to drive apparently! Most of the lady shooters that I've met over the years tend to shoot fairly normal weight guns and most, but not all seem to shoot 24/28grm shells. Some lightweight guns have a kick like a mule and some shells do not help the matter either. I'm sure a good coach will be of great help mate!

she is only 5' 4" tall by about 35mm and has a Jones adjuster installed,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so she is pretty slim then !!!!!!!!

Harley buy her a Perrazzi and when I needs fitted say it's prob best to get yours done and she can have that,,, simples.

Personally i think she would like a K-80 if we had the funds

I have the very enviable job some say of teaching many, many women to shoot at different clubs with enviable success and find it very rewarding.

From AA to newbie. Short, tall, fat or thin, she won't be a problem.

How ever if you can't make it.......if she's petite I would go for a 28inch 12 bore Beretta 686 game o/u fixed choke. They have been proven to be the most woman friendly guns straight off the shelf. Then fit / adjust it properly when she can mount it well enough and not until as it's a waste of time fitting a gun to someone that can't mount the gun reasonably, and particularly a woman. Then use the Comp X 21g or the Express HV 21g. They are both soft and will kill any target.

But with practice she could even learn to hold and shoot a reasonably fitting K80 but she needs to build those certain muscles by using the gun as often as possible at home by dry mounting.
