You know mates are just great. But sometimes you just have to do something for yourself and forget them.

You will get far more out of the day without the distraction of mates, everyone's different and requires a tailored programme. One may need more time on an issue than the others all takes time and could be distracting.

Your choice, I kept it quite, till I put it on here.

Just saying.

Ok - for me, no he didn't

Although I've shot his gun (which doesn't have one) - and I get the idea.

Independently from Ed I have put the smallest, least obvious bead on my Blaser - I found leaving the empty bead holder more distracting.

Ed has changed my choke choice - and told me to stop messing about with them!

Pete
I have put that many beads on my Blaser, I look like a pearly King !

To be fair, two people is enough I think. Me and Sibaldib have been intending on going, but if either of us can't, then I am sure Shaun Would be welcome :)

Only had 1 lesson with Ed a four hour session at Sporting Targets about 18 months ago. I'm still using his good advice today and things now seem a lot clearer, reading targets and sussing out the hold points. Apparently he's won a few things since then  . Must book another session.
Ditto.

He is good, but don't tell him cause he gets all big headed and blasé, then there's no stopping him ?

I like that word "blasé" - is that because the "r" has gone the same way as the bead falling off?

Spent three hours yesterday with Ed and probably got more out of it than I have over the last 10 years.

I now have a specific plan in relation to hold and kill points, something I had never even considered before.

Its given me plenty to think about and put in to practice, although I still think I would still be trying to hit the looper which is thrown off the tower towards Milton Keynes now.

Disaster at Churchills last Sunday. Got home had a serious think about what Ed said. Did some dry mounting here and there all week. Went out today hard shoot no give me stands, shot a 88. It takes a while to put the lesson into practice combine it with my good points and bingo suddenly it all clicks into place. Difficult to change the habits of a life time but no point in having a lesson of that quality if you don't put it into practice.

Chin down last week chin up this week.

Chucked in a 78 at Hornet this morning using what we went through yesterday, considering my last 2 efforts there we're 63 and 49 I walked away a very happy person.

If people don't mind me asking how much is a lesson with ed as I think a lesson with a good coach could benefit me at the moment.

if you have to ask you prob cant afford it

...but, that statement is unnecessary, not really funny and probably gives a false impression of the value of coaching from a world champion...

oh I see. Thanks for clarification.

see my post on classification thread

have a good night my friend

Jesus Christ lighten up man its a very old joke.

sometimes I bloody despair at the total lack of humour from some on here. How you lot get through a day is beyond me.

Jteouble with forums you can't tell how someone is coming across. So 'jokes' like will usually annoy people  I'm sure you know that.

point taken maybe I should have included a smiley thing.

my humour seems to be lost on many I think I need a break as I don't get this much hassle in real life
