Looks like a few more have arrived as Guntrader listings of 692 has gone up to a whopping 35 with only one showing as second hand. Most are listed at £2750 but Norris & Sons in Hampshire seem to be trying their luck at £3,200!!

Still no left handers or adjustable stocks.

Yes I noticed that Guntrader seemed to be filling up as well, so fingers crossed yours will arrive soon.

If its any consolation (if reports pn Shotgunworld are anything to go by) we seem to have received delivery of the 692 here in the UK ahead of the US which is a bit of a suprise considering what a massive market the States must be for them?

Yes it makes a refreshing change – they still seem to be pretty rare over there and they get the Schnabel fore end which I am glad we don't. I guess logistically we are closer to Italy so it makes sense. Or maybe another punishment from Beretta over the Maryland threat of moving their factory out of the state due to the proposed restrictions on firearms. I wasn’t aware how big they are in the US until I followed Beretta USA on FB. They love their pistols over there.

Just spoke to my dealer as last date they mentioned was June 25th. Not good news for me as End of July / Early Aug is now expected for L/H adjustable versions. Not sure if that is R/H adjustable also as I didn’t ask.

I was told the update from GMK was that due to massive demand for the 692 the factory in Italy will not be shutting down this August which is does annually and has done apparently for the last 50 years. Doesn’t seem to represent the reality with 40 guns for Sale on GunTrader but obviously they aren’t only supplying the UK as they seem pretty rare in the US still. Several on GunTrader are stupidly priced and some do appear to be placeholder adverts i.e. the shop may not actually have that one still but can order you one.

Good luck to beretta not shutting down, all of Italy production shuts in august as does Spain i believe. Its the law and i cant see Mr Italian worker accepting it :)

P1 fanatic! premier guns doveridge (matt) have just posted on FB that they will have 2 32" 692 in this week.................

Hi P1,

Sorry to hear about the delay on your 692, I bet you're gutted.

You do have to wonder where all he 692's are going, I know the worlds a big place etc but given their apparent rarity in the US which I would have thought was their no1 market it seems a bit odd.

Are the any non adjustable l/h 30" in the UK yet, might be worth taking one if these and having an adjustable comb fitted if you really don't want to wait any longer. I'm not sure how much space in the stock this BFAST system uses though so you would need to take this into account.

Hope it sorts itself out soon mate, whatever you decide to do.

As far as I know only right hand versions in 30” and more recently 32” have been produced and made it to the UK. Seems they are doing each type in production runs in terms of what Beretta perceive as having the most demand.

I can only go by what I was told. Some of my own work involves working with colleagues in Spain and Italy on a regular basis. As far as I am aware there is nothing legal about having to close down. Its more tradition and just accepted that is what happens across most of the country. Same for when they have public holidays on a weds & thurs - everyone just takes off Friday as well as whats the point just coming in for 1 day day right?

I for one hope these lazy ass Italians work on through otherwise this might end up as an Xmas present  :)

Don't know whether it's any use to you or not P1, but just read this in Premier Guns' Facebook page:

We will have the FIRST TWO BERETTA 692 LH 32" Sporters in the UK later this week! Please keep checking this page for more details and photos!

Also from FB, Coleys have a 30 &32 in lefty, non adjustable though.

Get a fixed that fits. Adjustable combs are the devils work IMO :)

Thanks for the info guys. So it would appear a shipment did indeed arrive this week including left hand 30 and 32” sporters. There are 5 left handers listed on Guntrader currently and one actually says adjustable stock albeit 32”. I have dropped that shop a message to check if they do actually have it in stock or just on pre-order. I am assuming in stock as it has a serial number listed:

http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/Beretta_Shotgun_692_For-Sale_130627145911001

I have already paid a deposit of £500 and got a good p/ex on my 682 so don’t want to jump ship unless I have to. Also like to support my local gunship and easier if I have any problems with it. But when I placed the order I was told I got my name down on only 1 of 2 Left Hand Adjustable versions on the GMK sheets. This is from a Premier Beretta Dealer which I thought might help in carrying weight with a pre-order. Ok the one I linked to above is not a 30” but if there are L/H adjustable in the country already it makes me wonder if I am getting told the full picture…..

Not sure if this helps or not P1, but I've just noticed that 692 l/h adjustable has also appeared (today) on the Premier Guns website - again in 32".

I would have thought the 30" adjustable's would have come in before the 32" like what happened with the fixed versions??

Hi all picked up my 692 32inch left handed on Friday nice wood shot on Saturday very quick compared with my Guerini Maxum recoil very soft like a Kemen not a Beretta shooter normally but this gun handles very well and a pleasure to shoot.

Yeah there seems to be 3 x 32" L/H adjustable on Guntrader by now (inc the Premier Guns one). Its seems they did the opposite with the Left Handers as this time the 32" L/H standard & L/H adjustable are first in. I have only seen 1 x 30" left hand standard advertised which is the one at Ian Coley's. As far as I know no R/H guns with adjustable stock either so makes a change that the southpaw version arrives first.

Out of curiosity did you have yours on order or just see one in your local shop and pick it up? I keep hearing how well they are selling and several shops saying they get bought as soon as they arrive but with 57 692's on Guntrader currently I find that hard to believe.
