When you see that targets break in front of you that is all the bit between your ears needs. There is no substitute for ability, I watched two shooters on Saturday shooting UT one using RIO target loads at £116/thou the other using Clever T4 pro extra at £196/thou over the three rounds I watched the guy shooting the target loads shot 21,23,23 the T4 shooter 20,22,22 . Now you could say the guy shooting the target loads should start shooting something a bit better but I doubt he will as he in his own words says he is just not a good enough shooter to justify the increase in cost. I used T2's from Clever at £146/thou and managed 23,21,21 and 22 and I am thinking of moving to target loads only one thing that puts me off that is recoil!

I only found a fraction more recoil between T2 and Rios. It's a slightly less smooth feel with Rio, but not much higher overall I felt.

I felt a bit more recoil with the RIO's Will but you have a reducer don't you? The thing is I know I can comfortably shoot four rounds of UT/OT in in under three hours using the T2's. However the point I was making is that it is impossible to win anything in a UT trapshoot down here or in the UK for that matter shooting less than 95% and generally that would not be the winner that would be a place, I have only got that once I normally shoot 84-88. If any manufacturer ever has the confidence to state that they have tested their cartridges against other brands and found a statistically significant difference in score achieved I would definitely consider using that brand depending on price... to my, albeit limited, knowledge no manufacturer has ever done this... I wonder why? Cartridges are sold by the snake oil method.

Beechin, the velocities are fine,,don`t have to clean the gun too often,,(apart from the plastic build up in the chokes!).  the fibre are also fine, but filthy ! if your fussy, clean the bores,,,, or shoot a few p/wads to clean them !

for about £170 fibre, less for plastics, why spend more ?
