And following my email of complaint I was told by their so-called customer service that "we're busy, speak to the retailer"! Seriously NOT happy and now I want my money back.
The bloody nerve of these people!! I will let you know Adam. Just to clarify, I went through PURETONE for my orderI had a pair brought as a present and have been struggling to get the impressions taken so was thinking of a refund. Recently reading my paperwork It states a full refund is available up to 1 month from purchase date. This has sadly passed for me too Ill be interested to hear how you get on pursuing the refund.
That's the service I expected b725blackI ordered from Puretone, the agent came to the house take the impressions, they were delivered to him exactly a week later, he came to the house again to check the fit and that everything was ok, good service
THIS is just the attitude that I encountered when my Cens went back with a fault on the switches, they were repaired and returned to me. They worked well until a month after the warranty expired and then one of the new switches failed again. They were duly returned and I was informed that they both needed a 'service' and 1 required a new switch. Even when I explained that the switch had been replaced under warranty and as such, was less than 12 months old, that did not seem to matter. They were duly returned after my forking out £75 for another new switch. I put them away and went back to my electronic 'cans'. However since changing my gun last December, I have been conscious of the stock clanging on the cans, as a result I have started using the Cens again. As and when they break down again, and I am certain that they will, I will look at alternatives. My Emtech passives are now some 25 years old and are as good as the day that they were made, I did lose one, but a new one was sent out to me within a week, now THAT is service, Cens take note !Still not received them Maria. I despair. The worst customer service ever. I don't even want to do business with these clowns any longer. They're a joke but I don't see the funny side. Now into week 8 since I ordered. If you are near Lancashire I know Vario are at the Lancashire Country Show tomorrow. I so wish I'd gone to Vario first. I'm livid!!!!

Good luck Adam. It's now 8 weeks since I ordered and still not been delivered. No joy on a refund and the usual **** poor customer service that I have now become accustomed to. Hope you fair better.My voucher also came from PURETONE.
I am now in a position to get the impressions taken, hopefully I can book an appointment for the next couple of days. Ill keep you updated how I get on.

Ah yes, BUT that is the stuff that soaks youIf it assists anyone's decision making I have the most expensive versions - they started to cut out in the rain - CENS took them back and supposedly coated them with something fancy - despite that they still cut out in what Peter Kay would describe as "light drizzle"

Hi Adam. Yes mine have just arrived a couple of days ago after an 8!week wait. All my disappointment at the crap service has been lightened slightly by the quality of the CENS. Very comfortable and do what they say on the tin. Good luck with yoursFinally had my ear impressions taken and they should be posted to cens today.
The ear specialist who took the impressions has spoken to cens and asked if there are any delays and they have been informed the wait time should be 3-4 weeks. If we count from the end of this week I hope to have them back by week commencing 23rd Oct. Fingers crossed!
