I get a book of vouchers each year but haven't managed to use any yet.

I got a badge when I joined and my wife kindly sewed it on  my skeet vest

I get a magazine and do look at the South West county reports and the fixtures and articles

I get insurance but also already have NSRA insurance

I get a membership card and a number

When I enter registered shoots CPSA record my scores and get a classification but there are few grounds in the SW

I think my membership gives comfort to people as they should know that I am insured.

IT's supposed to be things they do well...............

But i guess what they do works...

I finally took the plunge and joined the CPSA last month.

Got a pin badge, a sew-on patch, a membership card which I got to "laminate" myself, insurance, and a 10% off airport parking voucher!

If that wasn't enough, last week they sent me a glossy magazine through the post! For free! It has a great gun review inside by this guy with white hair, and a sneer like a cowboy out of a wild west movie! Vic I think his name is?! Legend!!

Apparently next year, if I 'play my cards right', I get to be involved in another part of the sport called "bagging"?! All very exciting stuff! ;-)

It does 'not being the SCTA' very well..count your blessings..

:fie:  So only reply to this thread with stuff the CPSA does well?

1. recruit more and more staff!

2. Apart from registering your scores, waste the rest of your membership fees.

3.Send us a Pull mag that takes 3 minutes to read.

Tour guides in Dallas?

Bet they know where the 'grassy knoll' is.

Wonder if they found out who shot Kennedy

Chairman elections.

Balanced representative board.

Commendable breath of communication skills.

(off to bed ....will think of some more whilst having my cocoa laced nightcap)

Are these your good points?

You forgot the great pictures, the expressions on those clay killers faces ( gun reviewers ).

Marchington standing up for the CPSA against Internet bullying.
