Gd has just shot 150 straight at the Compaq so he still has 50 to shoot tomorrow, so I don't think he will be at Southdown.

If you look on the results sheet his name is not on it to shoot, so he was never entered.

Or was he to get special dispensation to shoot if he cocked up early (which i would have doubted) in Hungary and got a flight home?

Well done snipey still leading C class after day two.

Results are on CPSA website don't know how to put the links in here.

Thanks guys, still surprised I'm leading but really happy with how I shot and how I'm still only 11 behind the leader; I guess it was my type of targets!

I think 81 in C class is going to be hard to beat to be honest.

If you look at the over all scores so far, that is damn good shooting.

Sorry but modern times that this is can't the Cpsa put up to date scores for the English open .

First off, Big thanks to Shaun and all at S/down, Nicely run shoot and well catered too :)

Squad shootclay started on stand 5 which along with 6 were the hardest scoring stands. I think everyone struggled on these. I walked off with 4 ex 12 after these 2 which wasnt the best start but knowing the scoring averages on these I wasnt too unhappy. On to the simo teal/crow and I dropped a couple of silly ones for a 5. Then went on a 5 stand run with only 1 away which really picked me up. finished the rest with a couple of straights and 1 or 2 away here or there and only 1 50%er in there.

Ended on a 75 which was good for 5th in C so very happy with that. Brucie Bonus being 1 of the guys above me went birds only :.:

Overall I thought a good shoot, a couple of real stinker birds (the 2 midis on 5 and 6) but you need these to get the cream to the top. everything else was easily shootable but needed care and a bit of thought. Personally I thought hold points were everything here as if you were too far back to the trap you did tend to flash through things.

Only real critisism, but a trifle really, is I really would liked to have seen a driven bird somewhere.

Thanks people! I'm buzzing; not sure where that came from as I haven't been at my best recently.
