Really......did they not put it in the right place??

I saw many targets missed last week by all manner of cartridges. Not a scientific research as such just an observation but seems to me that the cost of a shell does not seem to have any bearing on a shooters ability to miss. One can miss in style with an expensive one or miss for less money with a cheaper one the choice is down to the individual but the outcome remains the same. :)

Gone back to fiocchi 24g f blu which i intend to use for abt Ut and ot reason being that 24 patterns well and is kinder to my back. 50 quid cheaper than vip and sexy looking so i can miss in style and save money at the same time. I will also be able to blame the 4g shortage on bad abt or Ut days so its a win win as they say all angles covered. :)

Of course bad ot days will have to be blamed on being sh*te but there you go :(

I used to shoot eley superbs 28g 7.5 for DTL .I tried the fblu and I found they kicked like a mule but good kills.then the Fblack became available at my local ground so I tried them ,what a difference hardly any recoil and the same good kills.Fblack are all I will use now.

agreed the black are much better and only about 12 quid per k more i think. We discussed this on a thread a while ago and after much deliberation concluded that the wad and the powder is different than the blue, as in better. Defo worth the extra few quid. I am talking black trap of course.

They also use different wads and pattern differently. Well the ones I have used did when I had them apart. I use the F-black sporting for DTL.

You're right Iain. The trap loads are a lot more centre dense than the sporters, this is also the case with the TT2's.

All i know is that f black trap are very very good much smoother than blu
