There was a guy using a Hamilton at Garlands on Sunday, it blew over half a dozen times in the wind so in the end he just lay it on the floor, rendered it useless really

In all seriousness ....it would probably be useless in the wind because the design has the gun in the wrong way up for balance.

Whenever a gun is at rest, whether in a stand or against a fence, tree, bench, table etc etc it is stock down. No one puts stock up because if it falls or gets blown over...you can crack your stock.

If people do want to be golf/shooters maybe they could widen the angle that the legs are apart and turn the box around so that the stock is safer at the bottom, if it does blow over. Mind you....you would worry people pulling it out that way.

I would assume (like a golf bag) if the user pointed it into the wind correctly, then they would have no problem.  However, not a hope in hell of me ever getting one.

This is the way it should be done :sarcastic:

Ah hahaha you must live in a posh area if your wind is one directional

Ours swirls around

As for the picture....all I can say is 'uh ho.......UH HO....!!'

I hope this is not in the UK......or I would be worried....looks like he is off to school..!!

I would say that your multifaceted wind sounds far posher than my blow dust and twigs in your eye breeze.

Judging by the Help for Heroes wrist band I think it is the UK.  Another example of 'Broken Britain' :fie:

In defence of the Hamilton, there is an adjustment thingy to alter the pitch of the legs. It's not a cure, but will make it much more stable in the wind if the legs are wider apart.. They only blow over when empty.

Hey peeps......can I suggest everyone copies SkeetUK's brilliant photos and use them when we have had enough of a thread.....

If we get enough of them on any boring thread....like this one.....then it might get closed and put us all out of our misery .....just asking..!

I still use the word Pants when I don't like something - am I behind the times?

All it needs is a hook underneath, so you can hang your cartridge bag, or something similar on there, for added weight.
