We designed the Hamilton SlipStand to be lightweight to reduce fatigue when carrying your kit. The stand is very stable in mild to moderate winds, if using in strong winds we recommend hanging your cartridge bag by its shoulder strap over the SlipStand before removing your gun. Ensure to hang your cartridge bag as close to the pivot point and main carry handle for maximum stability. This will keep enough weight on the SlipStand to stabilise it in strong winds when your gun is removed.

Hamilton, I notice from the photo that the legs on your demo seem a bit wider apart than the others I have seen fall over at grounds.i guess you could adjust them also?

Yes there's a slider that adjusts the spread.

I really cannot see how or why I would ever need to use such a contraption to be honest.

I bought one a while ago, intially I kept forgetting to take it with me when I went shooting it was sitting on a shelf in the utility still in its packaging. I now  4 months later   stare at it on the shelf in the utility room still pristine in its packaging and for some inexplicable reason I feel reluctant to use the damn thing!!

Perhaps you could use it as an umbrella holder? A walking stick holder? A rubbish bin?

Without wheels it's just extra luggage.  :locomotive:

Sorry guys but I think your all being a bit mean about this product obviously its bound to blow over if the wind blows hard enough but 90% of the time this won't be an issue especially if you hang your cartridge bag on it, I personally find it a pain not having somewhere to store my gun when getting to the stand as many grounds just don't seem to like providing gun stands these days guess its elf and safety, leaving you with the only options of either keeping your gun on ones self or laying it in all the mud and sh*te just waiting for someone to stand on it, as for a weight issue I carry my golf clubs for 5 miles each round without a problem and they weigh far more then a gun and cartridges, have seen some real gimmicks on my shooting travels  :pilot:   but feel this doesn't fall into this category.   :nyam:

Got one have you?
+1 on that.

I am really undecided. I really like the idea, but I do not want to look like a man in comfortable shoes!

There are plans to fit spiked feet.

Has anyone actually got one?
