Just thought I'd update you as your having the same issue as me. I went to a local gun smith today. He said that it's an easy fix. He wants to change the two man springs for stronger ones. He did explain what wrong with the existing ones but it's a long story. I'm away for two weeks and can't get the gun to him but once I've had it done I'll let you know if it worksI have the same problem, thinking of selling it, gets very frustrating. Also heard that 24g cartridges don't work properly as they don't have enough recoil to set the 2nd shot. Can't find out what the exact issue is but it is getting worse, even after being sent back to Browning for a full check and service.
Fingers crossed it does. We got a spring and hardened firing pin set sent over from the US and got those put in my husbands gun. Still does it.Just thought I'd update you as your having the same issue as me. I went to a local gun smith today. He said that it's an easy fix. It's a feature of the Miroku/Browning triggers. They all do it and no one can fix it.Fingers crossed it does. We got a spring and hardened firing pin set sent over from the US and got those put in my husbands gun. Still does it.
