Hello from Cornwall

Hi all,

I'm Jamie, i'm 42 years old and live in St Austell, Cornwall.

I have always been interested in clay shooting but only recently got stuck into it.

I have had several coaching sessions with  a CPSA registered coach and i'm now looking for a club to join in the Cornwall area for regular shooting.

Purchased a new Beretta Silver Pigeon 1 "Sporter" a few months ago.

I will also be looking into the Trap discipline at some stage in the future and looking to purchase a Trap gun.

I'm pretty new and from Devon.

I know that Imerys have a clay club at Trethosa which is near St Stephen.

I think you will find contact details on the CPSA website - look under Cornwall.

I have shot there as a small-bore target shooter.

If you ever need detailed instructions on how to get there let me know as its quite hard to find

Newnham Park is now only Corporate, Hen & Stag parties and some tuition - no practice and no reg'd shoots.

I am in Cornwall too.

Not much choice locally now for registered shoots as Newham has gone.

You've got Lower Lake on the outskirts of Liskeard for sporting and some trap and there is a good fortnightly non registered sporting shoot at Cartridge shooting ground near Landrake.

Good variety of targets, including some old fire engines chucking out some big ones off the top of the ladders!!
