HI Greg,Welcome to the forum, in the skeet world it was decided a few years back to spread the money across the classes it seem's to be well liked . If your in the lower classes you feel that you are competing (moneywise) against shooters at your level also you do'nt have the feeling your paying your competition money in for it to be won (normally)by shooters that in a lot of cases you will rarely/never beat . It's also nice for a (say) 'c;class shooter to feel his achivement's are being rewarded , You ought to see the competition/ fluffy rabbits in b and c class on saturday at Dartford over who win's the comp. money

The other thing started at Dartford a year or so back which is also very popular is the pot i.e if you feel confident you back yourself for £ 5.00 the money stay's in class and winner takes all in your class .Although sometimes in b AND c class you might only get your own £5.00 back if no one else want's to play ,But generally in A and AA most play .
