Well thanks to John Jeffries my HPX RSR 33" sporter turned up sat after not to much a wait, with real excitement I popped to johns house to check the fitment which was perfect from the start, he said let's try it like that and see how we go. I only had to wait 1 day till I could get the chance to shoot the beast and it came on Easter Monday at Dave Peckhams new ground in Hickstead, I was a bit nervous walking down to the first stand as to how I was gonna shoot with this new design of gun because the vision the RSR(reverse slope rib) gives the shooter is just something else and nothing like anything I've seen before.I went on last in the group I was with 2 other people including my older brother Andrew and fellow shooter Charlie Milne who both have RSR's too (they both shot it very well) i closed the gun and called pull and before I knew it I'd shot 10 balls of dust, with a big grin I came off and couldn't wait till the next stand! Well all I can say is what a brilliant day, i finished my round with a 92/100(the highest I've ever shot at any sporting shoot in 19 years of shooting).

I can honestly say this gun is the best thing since sliced bread and if any one else out there wants to improve there shooting this IS the way forward, check out johns website : www.highpheasants.com or by phone 07711 456524

Crocket,

I think Hamster meant your gun!

For those who have never tried one, I certainly would recommend you do if you are contemplating a Perazzi.

I have had the opportunity to try a number of them and they do handle nice and if pointed correctly do break clays. They will not however cure poor ability.

I believe they may be a division of Ronseal as they certainly do what it says on the tin.

Crocket,

If your scores stay that high, a lot of people will be around John Jeffries.
