ok I admit I shot some OT at Griffin Lloyd today [sid wasn't there apparently as he was fetching some parts for the tractor but I never saw the parts] using John Ward's Blaser. Five pound trigger pulls and we put some weights on the barrels. With Les going off the rails it's like herding cats.

Nah, you just need one of them there magnetic thingy's stuck on your current trap gun. They have the added advantage of being able to pick up used cases that have missed the bin too.

Well I never :)

Trust me les is to blame for all of this.

40up, I will neither confirm or deny I was at Griffin Lloyd today just incase my wife sees this. With regard to tractor parts unfortunately the bits I needed were not kept in stock, they are on order and will be ready for pick up on Friday. Unfortunately to get to the dealership I have to drive past Griffin Lloyd.... How terribly inconvenient !

I leave the country for five minutes and look what happens! What ever next? Cats and dogs living together!, Boris defecting to labour!, England winning at football, rugby and cricket? Me hitting a 25 straight !

This is just a natural reaction to you not being as good as you hoped you are. It will pass, believe me. I have experienced it many times!

All you need to do is dust your ego down, get back on horse and shoot the UT selection shoot at Bev this weekend.

Simples

DT

Ps: on phone so no smilie things available.

Are you booked on yet Rob ?
Hi Norm,

Yes booked on for the 3 days. 9am on all 3. Looking forward to it!

& Ian, you've said in the past that shooting dtl & fast trap will bugger your timing for fast trap. So it depends on whether you are going to focus on dtl again, or mix it with some faster stuff. Might screw you up completely!

Yes correct rob and i stand by it.

I may have a full winter on dtl from Sept at least i only need to travel one hour to degla. I have a dtl itch i need to scratch :)

might even chase some scores for selection process next year :)

Good on ya. Well, degla has good sporting targets too, so you could scratch that itch too! Sporting is good fun to shoot occasionally

You made me want to shoot DTL you made 40up shoot a blaser and you made philr shoot some irregular pigeon with a P gun, any further questions ?

And how pray tell did I manage all those things? Fred with a Blaser?? How come? Why is it my fault? I always get the blame for everything!

But if Freds scores go through the roof with the Blaser and Ian makes the England DTL team, you can take ALL the credit !

good point mate :)
So has Fred actually bought a Blaser? If you want a good DTL gun for little money, maybe you could find an old black action 682X? One of the best DTL guns ever!

No mate he just had a go with one.

I might have a bash at dtl over winter, i might buy a cheap ish high rib or i might get over it by October and normality will be resumed :)
