But you need to see it to shoot it. The sun was so bright I just couldn't see the yellow one.
I didn't actually have a problem with seeing the bunnies, just hitting them. I had more of a problem with the blaze crosser on the plantation. I couldn't see that until it was nearly over. Broke it though it was a last second panic every time. We started at 11am though so the sun was reasonable most places apart from the driven birds. My prayer for cloud cover was answered!

A disappointing 59 for me on Friday.

Normally I would be happy with 50%, but I managed to hit the more difficult ones on some stands, and missed birds that I would hit all day long.

But he ho, still had a great day.

Bloody lemmings  :hunter:

Also shot on Friday - cracking squad of Jem, Lainy, Wayne (Aspire), Glenn from Jack Pyke and the super talented Brody Wollard - also accompanied round by Gavin from Jack Pyke.

Thought is was a pretty good course, nothing stupid but still some tough combinations (Sim r-l loopers did for me a bit, as well as the mini/looper combo on stand 2), really enjoyed the Lemming/Going Away pair - killed all the lemmings... for the first time I managed to get a decent score on the tower stand (14), taking 7ex8 before the clays went through the sun, and straightened just a couple of stands including the last.

Fantastic Day - good fun shoot and an excellent day out. (forgot to pick up my goody bag though... so I hope everyone got theirs!)

I thoroughly enjoyed my first attempt at this event.

.

Shot a semi respectable 71, straighted 2 stands but dropped a lot of silly ones.  Hay ho, onwards and upwards (hopefully)

How about the shootclay cup the week before...

Would like to do both, but having just been made redundant I will have to see how the finances/job situation are at the time.

How near the event can I book on Matt?

You can book up - right up until the point it sells out.
