Intriguing leader-board. Some bigger names struggling. Massive score by the guy leading, who appears to be having a better than normal day.
Seems more level now throughout with a bias towards the second half being tougher

Weather now looks nice tomorrow, but very sunny all day. This ground has historically paid zero attention to not throwing clays through the sun; hope they do now..

Fab 104 by Rosie Brumby. She doesn't yet have the constant form to worry Cheryl Hall, but on a good day she is great.

I hear that the JP course is mostly lower birds; perhaps due to the High tower challenge taking the higher option??

Teeing off at 11:30 tomorrow. i should be finishing just as you start Will. Happy to give you a few pointers but remember the advice is only worth what you pay for it! :)   :)

95x120 is a 79% in C class so I'd expect someone to card nearer 100, ( not saying it'll be me especially with a 3 hour drive to start the day beforehand but nothing ventured nothing gained as they say! )

Score of the day has to go to brody woollard, scoring more than some great shooters.
Yes we shot it yesterday, a friend of mine asked Brody what he shot and he replied 101 and asked what my A class friend got! When he replied 82 he said well "that's not bad"?

Thought it was a very enjoyable round, there were some gimme's but some real testers as well!

Shot 95 in A class which I was fairly happy with.

101 leading C class when I left at around 14:30.

A little unimpressed with my score but what a cracking day out! Even stuck on the M25 in a jam with a bus stuck in lane 3 and the highway closed to 1 lane didn't spoil it too badly! :)

And sure enough. Decent course, ruined by the last stand which was two high birds right across blazing sun. I admit I let it rattle me more than I should, being first up didn't help as a plan to deal with it emerged as the squad went through. 1 ex 8 killed a reasonable card stone dead.

Idiots!

Cocked up stand 3 straight at em teal. Only I over lead them.

Great day out with good company. Shame about the sun on last stand report pair high driven straight into the sun had to shoot them behind got 4 happy with that. Finished on a 97.

Very few people got better than 3 or 4 on that last stand. GD even dropped 1.

I shot it at about 14:20 and the first bird was right into the sun. How much lead did it need? I missed all of bird one but got 3 of the second birds.

I was first up on that stand. Only after I had shot and stood back, could I see that if you left the birds longer they were easier. Basically I showed my squad how not to do it. The first bird if left needed very little. I was seeing it suddenly after the sun and overdoing it.

I demonstrated how to ruin a decent card on the last 2 stands, dropping 9 between them.....still finished on 100, so not too unhappy...
