Just had a dabble at UT

Been about 17 yrs since i last shot normanton at least i think it was there, long drive through grass land up a bit of a hill is that the one.

Shot English abt selection there stopped in a hotel melton mowbray or am i thinking of somewhere else ?

Melton is the other side of the county. Normanton is over near Hinckley in a village called Thurlaston.

Oh, as i say it was a long time ago, how many trap clubs is there in the county ?

however Northampton, Nottingham and Rugby are all very close.

It case Ian SBoy get yourself along to Rugby ever other Sunday for UT and ABT on alternate fortnights. Checkout their website of the CPSA fixture list for upcoming dates.

Be good to see you there...although saying that if you are going to keep sticking those kinds of scores in you can buggar off somewhere else ;-)

Thanks DT, i have already looked at the rugby website and was thinking about the 20th for the UT. I think it should bring me down to earth with a bump.

As for coming ooop north, the UT is a sideline to DTL at the moment so i wont be travelling too far for now, even so i think your scores would be safe.

Right then DT, i'm all set for tomorrow. Kit all sorted, plenty of shells (even got some of those Gamebore Platinum trap to try if you like), and my pocket money all ready. The website says entries 9 - 10.30 but what time do they start shooting?

I normally wear a Gray and Green under armour top, Blue Castallani skeet vest and desert boots. Gun is a Perazzi with one shiny black Muller choke poking out of the bottom barrel only.

Phil will also be holding a copy of the times and wearing a pink carnation, so should be easy to spot.

Not sure about DT but probably his usual evening suit with lilac cravat.
