Lead when moving

I was driving along a country road today and a woodpigeon was flying just over the hedge and keeping up with me at 55 mph and it got me thinking. If I shot it from a moving car would it need the same lead as if I had been stationary or less ?

In maintained lead you move the gun at the same speed as the target with a constant lead. If your car is going at the same speed you wouldn't need to move the gun but you'd still need the lead.

Same lead, lead is the allowance given for the difference in time that the shot takes to reach your target, your shot will not be sliding at 55 mph sideways, you will however have longer to get onto the bird.
