Longthorne trap gun for IPS

As much  as I would like a bespoke English gun, I think that we would all be much better off using our current guns and spending the  £13,290.00 + VAT on cartridges, entry fees and lessons !

But as the VAT is included in the price for the Hesketh, total bargain!
To be honest, I love it, a truly aspirational piece that deserves a finer level of skill and a more robust bank balance than I possess!

It looks lovely Fuz! Do you have some sort of interest in Longthorne? I suppose a plain black action with a flat rib would be cheaper wouldn't it?

Nope, no interest at all apart from really liking their work and its great to see a start up English manufacturer when most of the old "names" are going bust I met Elaine at the shooting show and had a chat and a swing with one of the game guns and was very impressed with the quality for money. Why go custom beretta/browning or even perazzi when you can get a hand made English gun for a fraction of the cost

I would love to try one of their trap guns, but I doubt if they have demo trap guns! :biggrin:

Well now these long things are made at hesketh bank nr Preston about 15 miles from me. There is a place called Rufford old hall just down the road which is a tudor mansion historically the stately home of the wait for it ... Hesketh family.

There you go sian and i are of aristocratic blood line. I wonder if Mr long thing would give up a discount on a couple of hesketh guns
