I have tried 2 different Maxus guns and did have a Winchester 'Fannygun' for a while. I found the piston a pig to clean on my Winchester and on both the Maxus guns, the forend was a bit loose, which I found offputting. Could not fault their shooting ability, but the Winchester always felt a bit Benelli like, when shooting. I weighed the Winchester in for a Beretta 303, in my opinion, a much better gun.

They're basically a restyled Gold.  A gun that just didn't hold up.  Yeah, fit and finish are fantastic, but they simply can't take the pounding that a target gun demands.  If you want a great semi auto, get any of the Beretta 300 series.

my dad bought one about 2 years to try clay shooting but the gun seems very clunky and is very light and also to clean is a pig.they are a nice gun for rough shooting but the berretta is a lot better which he traded the maxus in for.
