the more celebs the better I say, maybe if the cpsa got into gear and try to push the tv company's some of them could make some programmes on clay shooting,as for it not making a good spectator sport who would have thought that snooker would have the following it has on tv now,i am sure they could come up with a series with clays involved it cant be worse than big brother or britains got no talent,

Cpsa getting into gear.......yeah .......that is on my wish list tooooo

"My view is Mel talking about herself getting there devalues the hard work and massive talent that our Olympic shooters have put in/got."

Actually Fuz, the more I think about it (which in fact isn't a great deal) it might be that the opposite could be true.

Once Joe Public see that she has not made the GB Team, despite her enthusiasm, they might gain a new found admiration for those that do ???  Just a thought.

Other than that I just think that its good PR for the sport to get TV coverage, shown in a positive light to possible whole new audience. What the hell is wrong with that ?

Only just seen this thread...

As 'nice and perky' as Mel might be, unless she has a recently-acquired-God-given-talent-for-shooting, she has Buckley's chance of shooting for England/Team GB any time soon. Great aspiration, and happy that minor 'slebs are putting shooting in the ITV spotlight, but the chances of her shooting in Rio 2016 are as rare as finding a Chinese chef with a naturally ginger afro.
