Must admit Supercharged....I do like your avatar.....

Well done SoR for the initial thread , life's dull if you can't have a laugh , keep up the good work everyone it's an amusing read !!!!!

Err... the one you posted - maybe I should get my missus nail varnish out and do my nails pink like hers if it will help me hit a few more clays, If I do it now it'll just have time to dry before I go to High Lodge this afternoon.

Back to the picture, it looks like a pretty good picture to me - I'd like to have taken it.  Is that a Beretta she's using and that looks a bit like Holland and Holland's ground but I don't think it is.

I note that it hasn't taken long for the corporate sponsors to take notice!........or is that a standard Gamebore skeet vest ?

Cynical? Moi!!

Ain't it funny. The rest of us have no chance of sponsorship unless a string of good wins under the belt.

Just saying :)

The best bit about MEL is that she is Northern and keeps her accent ....and she has got a very well proportioned figure.

I don't care where she comes from Nic.    just saying..........

By the time this thread finishes, Mel might actually be on Team GB... :)

Hmm I thought it Olympic skeet she was going for, well hopefully I will see her at the next OT GB shoot then , as if I dont need anything else to distract me .

I could be wrong, but there's still nothing explicit or implicit to suggest that they are giving her free shells (and a free vest is one of the the cheapest ways of getting the brand out there and associated with a 'sleb) - "we'll be advising her on which load to use" is a world away from the stock, trite PR verbiage, "and we're excited to announce that Mel will be a sponsored [brand name here] shooter and shooting [brand name here] shells!"

Likewise, I suspect both Ben and Phil are 'lending their time', rather than charging Mel actual coin for their services - working on the association of a 'celeb' against their respective names. Call it mutual/symbiotic back-scratching.
