New UT format

I'm losing the will to live with this now.

I've managed to get the reality of the Italian demonstration into the public domain instead of hearsay.

I'm going to expend my energy shooting targets whether they be UT, emasculated ABT, OT or sporting tomorrow, instead of wittering about something that may or may not happen.

Lets be honest this will probably not actually go ahead at most small club competitions. The competitions down in our league normally attract 60-90 entrants to shoot a 100 target comp these people expect to take all day to shoot the targets 50 in the morning and then lunch for at least an hour then the other 50 targets so start at 9.30 finish at 4 on a two fosse ground. I shot a 100 target comp at an eight fosse club and the time scale was the same start at 10am  50 targets in the morning two hours recess for lunch and a nap then 50 targets in the afternoon... and there were only about 45 entries the shooters don't want to see how fast the can shoot the targets the want to enjoy the day and have bit of a laugh with there mates during the wait between rounds.

Blimey John, I like to start at about 9.30, shoot 100 targets with a short break between rounds and be on my way to the pub by about 13.00 - 14.00hrs! Can't be doing with messing about all day just to shoot 100 targets. It used to work like that when Southern Counties was still there and it was only 20-30 mins from my house too. All in the past now.....a bit like me! Anyway I've given up comps now, so it doesn't really matter.   :lol:

Just the way it is down here Les shooting is more than just breaking targets it is very much a social occasion   Don't get me wrong sometimes I make sure I am on the very early squads so I am finished that bit earlier than the final ones I would be done by 3 ish then. But there is always a break for lunch which is usually three courses and costs about €12 and includes wine! I don't take lunch I am ready to sleep after eating that much.
