As per title Orston Shooting ground is looking for new owners. Would imagine it will be up for a Bob or two.

It’s a great ground and I hope someone comes along to make a go of it.
Vested interest as it’s one of the closest grounds to me.

Not a good time to sell in the current financial climate. Couple that with the general increase in shooting costs

Did Park Lodge ever sell ? It was up for sale in 2021 , and it never seems busy

Not as far as I am am aware. I stopped going when they got too expensive. However called about a month ago, it seemed very quiet.

Yes , I’ll go once in a while to shoot 50 off the tower . It’s never ever busy and the shooting positions and cages are looking a bit scruffy , yet every time I go to Kelbrook , Thimbleby or Swinton there’s always good attendance irrespective of the day . The thing about those 3 grounds though is they keep investing in the facilities and are all pretty immaculate. I liked Orston the last time I went down we rented a buggy so my buddy could get round with his bad hip . Nice place hope it finds a buyer .
