I like it. Would love the letters to be in 3 colours so it looks even more funky than it does now.

P.s I was not sure ages ago when it came out but it has now grown on me.
I really don't understand what the fuss is all about.  Seriously.  It's not a Purdey game gun for the carriage trade is it?  Look around - logos are in.

K 80 and gobbies around it

So who cares?

The three color idea is cool.  The Italian Green/White/Red scheme would be totally cool.  Remember Amber's CG?  Was that not cool?  Yes it was!  So cool that I painted the adjustable combs on my guns sorta the same way.  And they are cool too.

Lighten up, Dudes and Dudettes!!  It's just a game played with toys that make a noise.  Try to have fun with it.

just sayin' ..............

Missing the point Wonko? It's not that is has the 'bling' so much as the other Perazzis do not, hence it is visibly distinguished as the cheaper version. To use the car analogy, when I had a 320i BMW I opted to have no writing on the boot (as BMW offer the option) but when I got a 325i I took the writing as it was top of range at the time. The MXS just says "HEY, I'M THE CHEAPEST ONE".

I had "RS TURBO" on the back of my MK3 Escort 1.3L

And I put a "400" sticker over a "250" wet dream (sorry, Super dream).

Ulitmately I was ashamed!

Is that inverse snobbery???  :sarcastic:

I remember the super dream, even making look like a 400 would not have helped with street cred :)

Ouch

Yes.. But let's face it.. Mustang owners aren't exactly the quiet subtle types are they.. :)
And that is exactly who they are aiming it at...... not debadged 3 series drivers......

Thats not a car analogy its a "you" analogy.........
The MXS just says "HEY, I'M THE CHEAPEST ONE".
No it says I'm a Perazzi..... its like a porsche boxster..... its still a porsche...........

Clever, take that broom handle out your arse and stop being so uptight!!!

James, I'm not uptight. Not worried about it all. The debate is merely "is the best way to market a lowest end product by making it stand out as such". Couldn't be less worried about it, I'm not getting one or selling one. Just an observation from a business perspective really.

I think it looks awful.but I don't like Perazzi's so maybe i'am biased. in fact i'am definitely biased so take absolutely no notice of anything I say.

There's every chance it will sell in the numbers they're hoping for but it's possible it could have looked classy with it, say if the MXS was much smaller and in a more attractive font, that will have a marked affect on its resale.

There's 3 on Guntrader, each one for just over £5500. I was surprised at the price.

You mean like how Beretta do it!! You stay classy Perazzi!!!!

Really ? There's me thinking they're being savvy taking on the mid market dominated by CG and Beretta !! I genuinely thought £2.5k tops, £5500 grand is crazy, you can have a DT11 or top of the range CG for that or your pick of a mint Perazzi !!

There are still one or two new DT10L's around too.

The mxs is perfect for the people that cannot afford an mx-something else, but still want to "flaunt" the fact they have spent their hard earned cash on a perazzi.

Fair play to them!

In the meantime, I'll stick with my "showy tarted up rizzini" guerini maxum!

;-)

How similar are they to the mx5 model of the past? Are thdy meant to be aimed at the sporting market only as thats all I've seen advertised?

If anybody would like some chill pills, please pm me with your address. Happy to send them out FOC..
Why? Will you have a large supply of them you no longer need now you have planned to remove said broom? Gun marketing makes no sence at all, black plastic stocked Browning Cynergy is the perfect example...looks crap, kicks like a mule, is overpriced and doesn't seem to last, but people keep buying them!!! I don't think the MXS looks all that bad, in fact it's growing in me, I'd be more interested in its handling and build quality, which should be good.
