It could be as simple as your break point was just a little later than your husbands and the bird was dropping a litter faster, be carefully asking what others see trust yourself what you think it needs and don't change sight picture by a little change by a lot
ask yourself what the bird was doing at the point 'you' intended to pull the trigger. May sound overly simple, but its easy to work that out on a screaming crosser or teal. These 'floaty' type targets are difficult to read if not fully assesing what the bird is doing at the point you intend to pull the trigger. I know, I struggle with these myself, last weekend at St Dials being an example, stand 11 caught me out until i engaged brain fully.
