Trapshooters.com is excellent for all round info but you have to be selective on which threads you read,

Shotgunworld is the best stateside forum and very comprehensive, again you need to be knowledgeable yourself to avoid digesting krap,

Shootclay hands down for clay speak,

Pigeonwatch is Shotgunworld with spelling mistakes, very comprehensive but full of 14 year olds wiv air guns, many knowledgeable members especially with gun dogs and full bore,

AirgunBBS hands down the place you'll get precision tested no bull air gun advice, also peerless for discussing nuking of the entire middle east,

Facebook lets you keep in touch with friends you haven't seen in 35 years and talk to others you'll never meet anyway, you can taylor things your way like ignore button etc, just the same as Shootclay in fact,

LandyZone, One Laugh Had It, Pigeon Watch and Airgun BBS. One Laugh Had It is the one I frequent the most. :D

Now i understand it is a car forum ......I had not heard of it before.

:)

I have been on Neil Stirton's Stirton.com which is a dedicated UK based small-bore target shooters forum since 2003 and I would put it in the same category as here though it has an international element from those that are mates with our international shooters and coaches at Commonwealths, Olympics and World Cups etc.

High quality advice, information sharing, reviews, buying and selling. Perhaps less leg pulling and more patience or more serious though I've only just joined here and maybe not be a fair judge here yet.

Skeetshooters is a really good one that I use although the forum seems to be down, I think Jon admin is on that one

I'll have to confess that the Pigeon Watch one is my main one

I'm on here as it's clays I shoot, whereas PW is more live quarry orientated.

Is the rule on Pigeon watch that you either have to shoot pigeons, or match the IQ of one? (not aimed at you Richard) :)

Airgun BBS has some realy good guys and some absolute tossers, same as any forum!!! There are loads of US rifle forums, some realy good reloading info and great people running 1 or 2 of them........Snipers Hide is the only one I follow now. There is a cracking Alaskin forum, rifle bias, serious hunters and fishermen, great pictures, they set it up because they were banned from most other forums for being ultra harsh to "pretenders" and "know nothing" types. Don't get me wrong, they will help newbies, but if newbies don't listen or argue............"go read field and stream retard, when offered advice, either take it or fu@k off!!!" asrealasitgets.com they also like to bait trolls for fun!!!
Was on Airgun BBS for years, when I was serious with spring gun shooting, but there was far too many self righteous knob jockeys on there, including some even bigger knobs who were mods.

Is that not what I said??? There are also some VERY good guys........;)

I was just telling you my thoughts on the BBS that's all..

I have lots of good friends on there, but I had to leave due to the petty nitpicking and arguing

Pigeon Watch used to be excellent and very addictive. There used to be some very funny people on there and it was a good laugh.

Not now though, seems to have been taken over by a new breed of gobsh*te. The theme seems to be that they come on as newbies and within a month they're telling you how it is (except they don't know what they're talking about). Lots of fiction too, some very vivid imaginations. Strange........

Les,

From the few posts that I viewed as a guest everything was littered with swore words and name calling to each other. There is a list at the bottom of the page which presumaby shows the mods for each area and it was identifed as F****, C****s, etc. Sorry not my idea of a forum.

There is/was another land Rover forum, i forget the name now, which had lots of useful advice about all things to do with Land Rover but this was only moderated lightly if at all and I stopped veiwing it, as a forum member proudly put up pictures of his injuried dog after it had been involved in dog fighting, now this was an organised dog fight for money which did not appear to be condemmed by the members.

Andy
