I just bounce around, hop from stand to stand that's free, whatever the order might be. Not fussed about doing more walking if it means avoiding queues. In and out ASAP. But enough of my sex life...

They are numbered sequentially for a reason as to prevent dohballs getting the order wrong.

Lets imagine a ground in the world of the idiot, who thinks the first stand nearest his car that he wishes to shoot is 3, what next 7 then he hears that trap 9 is easy as the wind has died, but where the love will it be ? I will tell you it is second last after 4 and before trap 1 to finnish on, make sense to you ?

:jester:
Chiefy, I used to live near Glasgow and consequently I appreciate Scots don't enjoy the same personal freedoms we have in England so I'll try and be gentle with you. :tease:

It's okay to shoot stands in the "wrong" order - lots of people do it...

My only reservation is shooting stands blind; much prefer seeing a couple of people shoot beforehand.

Nobody walks the course these days but a few years ago it was commonplace for the big boys to have a look at the targets for major events on the Friday with a nice couple of days grace (if you get the drift)  :pleasantry:  ) before they shot it on the Sunday. :pirate:
