Much cheaper if you shoot something like Fiocchi TT1 and officiandos, fuss arses and the like aside they do the job.
^^^^ that would be me then  :p   :D  ^^^^

if i was going using the cheapest cartridge id be happy with.  for me it would probably be the Clever T1 Super Target they are even cheaper that the Fiocchi TT1 and for me who has a mental block against TT1's ( yes i know its all in my head )  they are the Pups Nuts

Maybe it is due to Fiocchi being the only readily available cartridges, that held off 'ripping us off' for the longest  ?
ya they were the last to raise their prices here aswell . it only happened in the last 2 weeks that they have gone up for fiocchi

Could be, but hull and gamebore have never been cheap.
Last Sunday I used some 'old stock' Superfasts that I had kept to use in my auto. I was surprised as to how clean they were,  and they performed without a hitch. They were £157/1000 back in November 2016. One of my shooting pals was using some Fiocchi TT1's he managed to get 2 weeks ago at £160/1000. The current prices are £184 for the Superfast and £187 for Fiocchi. The Superfast are the better cartridge, in my opinion, but the Cheddite are still £177 at Malmo for the 24 gram Trap, so it is them for me.

The Kent 2016 things were great at £135/1000  !

That's true I forgot about Kent.

12g - Gamebore Evo 28 gram 7.5 (1420 fps)

20g - Gambore Competition 24gram 8 (1350 fps)

I was tempted to try Eley Select (1350 fps) or something from Fiocchi but by the time I add the fuel on to go get them I may as well just stick with the above as they are readily available and I have a crazy mental insecurity that the slower Eley`s will come back to bite me when I I switch to my game cartridge (1425 fps) and my lead is wrong.... all in the head I know but still a PMA is important and this just messes with mine. If I changed any cartridge first it would be the 20 bore cartridges to Fiocchi Top 20 for the 1420 fps, my only concern with this would be the perceived amount of plastic fouling in the barrels I seem to get !.

I'll send Tony round to clean your barrels for you, it works for me ?

Hey Cayman

how much do you pay for the NSI DUE Sporting?  They have the same wad (Piston) as the Fiocchi F3 Piston, and the Clever Super Sporting.  My Perazzi patterns really tight and these wads help open the pattern up a bit.

Cheers

See all these velocity figures where do you get them from? They seem a little on the high side. If you go to Fiocchi's website their fastest competition load is 400m/s or 1300ft/s Fblack is 380m/s or 1250 ft/s Clever figures are something similar yet it would appear British manufacturers turn out much faster loads

Just cartridges website !

Having checked the manufacturers website, the quoted FPS`s for Gamebore match on JC`s listings with Gambores website.

Eley`s website agrees with JC pretty much: 1378fps on the select.

Fiocchi - their figures suggest: 1295fps for TT one.

The wad is GUALANDI.

These Multi Targets are the new kids on the block, gonna give them a trail tomorrow :)

Piston's are a personal favourite. Over 13,000 views since the F3's were the topic of conversation back in 2015

I have also witnessed some winning trap scores with the 8.5's

Sean Smith won todays testing Northall Compak using F3 7.5's and Guy Franklin used 75% Bior 9.0's to win the English Open Compak last month.

Give em a go and let us know............. :clover:

I agree James................I'm just saying that should they wish to try them, the F3 range has "a little bit of something for everyone" :D
