What lubriacant for actions?

Good to know - one could get bored of all the black actions out there 

I was referring to organic finishes.  Doesn't touch any metal finish like bluing or the case color for that matter - just the varnish.

It continues to amaze me (no it doesn't) that shooters still use 19thCentury lubes and/or think that they can formulate something superior to 21stCentury petroleum science.  Besta Luck ! !

Thumbs up for using products developed for specific use on guns as opposed to whatever 19th century concoction was considered close to good. Then again, I think there's a whole lot of gun oils at prices better suited for true-organic-serpentine-hand-milked-tincture.

Just purchased some Bisley Silicone oil. has anybody tried it ?

Silicone oil can cause  metal to metal  surfaces to pick up on one another,  happened to one of my airguns when  I was 11. I wouldn't  put anything with  silicone in it near a gun  ever again!
