I am down to have a lesson with Rob Eaton on Thursday afternoon from 1pm until 4pm going around the ground.

Unfortunately Rob has just let me know that he is bedridden with a viral infection and might not be well by Thursday.

If he is still unwell on Thursday is anyone going for a practice in the afternoon that I could perhaps join up with as I'm loath not to go as its all arranged and the wife is meeting a friend in Taunton for the day?

That's a shame.  I was with Rob last Saturday and he wasn't well then, so it's no surprise.

Why not ask Ian, or go with another of his coaches?  They are all good.

I would if it were nearer. A couple of things I fancy brushing up on before the weekend, but a nearer venue unfortunately makes sense..

Hope you have a good session.

Thanks TeePee1234.  Let's see if Ian comes up with an idea.  I don't want to upset Rob now having made the arrangement by taking a lesson with someone else.

Thanks Ian

I expect i'll get there about midday for  bite to eat and drink before an afternoon's shooting
You wont be disappointed robert they are good crue at wylye and will look after you very well my friend...enjoy :)

What 28boreshot said... love Wylye, been a while since I got down...  but you won't find many better grounds in the area.

Oh Fab - we're on a diet at home so I can cheat for the day!  I make a mean cake myself I have to say!
Robert - you may be a lot of things - but the cake at Wylye is the stuff of legend, I don't eat it - but I am required to bring a slice home for Mrs Admin every time I go.

sorry to jump in on your thread but how much are lessons at wylye per hour?

need some sort of help on a few of the targets there ..

The website says £60 per hour inclusive of clays exclusive of cartridges but I booked an afternoon direct with Rob exclusive of clays and cartridges so I was going to get 3 hours of Rob's time plus whatever number of cartridges I shoot.  You choose.
