yeah just googled it there is a 10k limit and its not to do with the amount of cartridges, its to do with the amount of powder you can hold without an explosives licence

I thought you weren't allowed to hold more than 10,000 cartridges on a shotgun licence..... only firearms dealers were allowed to.....not sure where I read/heard that but I'm sure I did Still I only generally have about 2-3k max at any one time

depends what your shooting. I shoot sporting and use 1/4 & 1/2 ,I've put them in since I started shooting about 4-5 years ago and never changed it 

if your not adding to the injury I don't see a problem. The only thing is if your thinking about the injury, your concentration will be affected. If your'e the type of person to then have confidence issues as a result of a drop in scores because your head isn't completely in it then i'd give it...
