    Both eyes open?

Some great replies and ideas guys, thanks, unlike Dave, I am definitely left eye and left shoulder mounted but my dominant eye got damaged a few years back so although close birds are ok it's distance, straight down the rib it's when there's background distractions and distance involved my...

    Both eyes open?

Many thanks Ed, I am going to remove the bead completely first and go with that, it's probably a case of more practice for me but birds against backgrounds and two pairs, same direction, are my downfall at the moment, possibly the white bead throwing me out as I seem to be out above them every...

    Both eyes open?

How do find these beads, although I am shooting from the left shoulder and definitely left eye dominant I struggle with the odd pairs against backgrounds like hedges and some crossers, i have the standard white bead which is rubbish imo, so been thinking to get one of these easy fit beads but...

I am left handed naturally, definately left eye dominant but have to keep both eyes open to hit anything, tried closing right eye but miss a hell of a lot more that way round, but then probably hit more with both eyes closed!

    Shooting glasses

Cheers Guys, good point there Vic, my everyday glasses are shatter proof as when they were made I opted for "sport" type cost a small fortune but practically un breakable, the arms are the ones you can bend around with snapping etc, worth it I thought, hence this is what made me wonder whether i...

    Shooting glasses

Probably a silly question but if you wear glasses normally do you still need to wear safety glasses too as they state on some grounds? I know the glasses are essential not only for protection but for low/bright light etc as coming into this from a fly fishing background, I tend to use clip on...
