I may be wrong here, so please forgive my ignorance in advance if I am, I thought a shotgun Cert. only covers your RIGHT to own and use a shotgun, sure you have to notify FAO if you buy one etc, but I dont think they actually give a toss what condition its in or if there are bits missing etc, so long as you keep it locked in an approved safe/cabinet, thats mostly what they will be checking! ....but like I say, if I am wrong, someone will no doubt correct me.No paperwork as didn't see the issue with leaving a harmless lump of metal with him..the point is that neither he nor I have the working example of my gun.
