Well after many years of shooting Olympic Trap I finally managed a 25 straight today! God knows how, but I finally got there!

well done mate, new gun thing going well then ?

Well done Les - I take it the new gun is set up just a bit better than the Miroku  :D

cheers Ian, well it was ok today, but who knows what will happen next time! Pmsl! How about your new stock?
new stock is the dogs doo dah's. Full report very soon prob titled "ips does mutleys stock" or summat.

Great stuff but now your left with the feeling of how did that happen and how do i do it again?i did my first UT 25 straight last week and was in total shok after, couldnt put into words how it happened so couldnt even write it down.

Great result well shot.

that's the problem Paul when you shoot well your unaware of anything but the target, you just do your natural thing but of course you think there was a magic ingredient and dig s big hole trying to replicate it, but there is no it

there endeth the lesson according to ips.

amen

ok guys....I'm not sure what happened, all done on auto pilot. Didn't really give a sh*te, threw gun in shoulder and hoped for the best! I didn't even think about it! A bit of luck I guess!

wish you plenty more luck then Les

AFT    hahahaha

if you wait too long to do it then you get too old and it never happens.  Don't ask me how I know that.

Good on ya, dude.  Using that automatic is prolly what made the difference, right?

In that case Mr. Braithwaite must have been extremely lucky ! He always shot like that.

Don't forget, the more you practice, the luckier you will get !

Bloody Hell Les, I would get a nose bleed trying to get my eye over that rib ! No wonder you shot a straight, you would only have to move the damned thing sideways, no elevation required.

I'll tell you what Wes, once in the shoulder and you use a head up mount, it seems very comfortable. Trying to get used to so much peripheral vision is another matter!  :D

All you needed was to come over to the Dark Side. Well done mate. Now all you need is somewhere to shoot!!

Cheers mate, but this is actually my 4th time on the Dark Side! Yes some fast trap would be good in Dorset.
