I think the initial comment of 'ball-breaker' may be right. Services won on 77%, and that appears to be by a AAA shooter, looking at his cpsa scores. I agree that last year, certainly in places, it was a bit easy for a major, but has the pendulum swung too far? Oh well, at least the only issue is enjoyment as the shoot is not registered and wont give a `false` score in to CPSA. Same for all on the day, so no problem if this is a toughie. I can see some glum faces appearing though. Not mine of course. ;)

If it wasn't 6 hours drive from me I'd go shoot it, sounds like it will sort the men from the boys!!!

Anybody know if its muddy? I suspect the Blue course is fine, but the estate was a swamp last year.

The Services Classic is effectively a test event. From this the organisers have the opportunity to find a balance with the targets and try to give the event a Wow Factor!. Hopefully they have been busy between yesterday and today.

Nothing wrong with the targets yesterday - hopefully they'll keep them the same for the main shoot and allow the best to strut their stuff :)

Hope they dont bring everything in otherwise it will be the same as last year- dull as dishwater!

GD has scored 67 on the first layout of the day - trying to confirm if this is Red or Blue... Nick Hollick is one behind on 66

UPDATE - These were on the RED layout.

Even as a low c-class shooter, I'm excited... I'm really looking forward to testing myself against what sounds like an interesting and challenging course.

I suspect I'll come home suicidal, but I'll damn well enjoy trying some tough stuff!

Like the sound of it! Hope I shoot really badly and can come back and blame the targets!

So - George Digweed finishes on 136x150

Shot the Classic today. The most horrendous conditions I have ever shot in. The rain was torrential all day. Shot 136/150. Not bad considering the rain drops on your glasses blocked out most of your vision!
